About Rebound Properties
Re-Bound Properties is a local real estate brokerage agency located in Salem, Massachusetts that specializes in the sale of pre-foreclosure properties at discount prices, also known as short sales. The company was founded in 2009 by Paul Montero, owner of Montero Credit Management, and Peter Kaplan, a consumer bankruptcy lawyer and real estate broker. Prior to the formation of Re-Bound, Montero and Kaplan worked together for several years to help people in financial distress. Together they offer a complete array of debt management services including credit counseling, bankruptcy, and loan modification.
As part of the debt counseling process, clients who are facing foreclosure can avoid it by negotiating with the bank to accept a discounted price that is less than the mortgage due, which is often referred to as a short sale. Montero and Kaplan formed Re-Bound Properties to sell these pre-foreclosure properties for their clients and negotiate with the bank for them to avoid foreclosure.
Re-Bound Specializes in Short Sales
Although a short sale can have many advantages, there are often pitfalls and risks associated with buying a property this way. Most realtors have little experience with short sales and if you are looking for a pre-foreclosed property, you should be sure to work with a broker who is experienced in short sales. Rebound has a fully-integrated law office to provide the expertise and negotiation skills that are essential to get the banks come to the table. Rebound can get everything done under one roof, whereas most real estate agents outsource short sale negotiations to an independent attorney or negotiator.
Re-bound is more than just a real estate brokerage. With the combined expertise of a lawyer and real estate broker, we know all the ins and outs of the short sale process. Whether you are trying to avoid foreclosure or looking for a good deal, Re-Bound Properties can help.
